There’s an aca-special event happening this week – yes, you guessed it, Pitch Perfect 3 is out in theatres!
Here at Fave, we appreciate great voices and a crackerjack underdog story. We thought to ourselves – why not help our fellow Malaysians try to achieve their own Pitch Perfect dream while still saving smart? So, we’ve come up with the 3 steps to Keeping Up with the Pitch Perfect Pros.
Step 1: Practise, practise, practise
Fine tune the quality of your voice with copious amounts of practise. Sing in the shower, sing in the kitchen, sing while driving to work, just sing anywhere and everywhere you can. If your girlfriend, boyfriend, or we’re-just-friends friend is ready to duct tape your mouth and pull their hair out, we have a solution – OPUS Boutique Karaoke.
OPUS Boutique Karaoke
Head over to this popular karaoke centre in Bangsar and belt your heart out. With over 3,000 songs that range from English, Malay, and Mandarin songs, you get to pick and choose any song you want from an extensive song library. We promise nobody will bat an eyelid if you miss that high note.
Step 2: Shake That
No show is complete without an amazingly choreographed dance performance. Whether it’s smooth and kawaii dance KPop moves, the unlying hip shakes, or pelvic thrusting disco moves, you want to be on top of your game. To nudge you along, we have the perfect dance class – Hip Hop classes.
Hip Hop Class at Sapphire Dance Company
Learn to bust out your moves a la Queen B with this class that covers the basics of Hip Hop dance. The instructors at this Damansara Uptown dance studio are equipped with years of experience and couple of awards to boot, so be assured that you’re in good hands.
Step 3: Recording time at Musicwerkz!
Now that you have the voice and the dance moves, it’s time to get you into a recording studio. Luckily, you don’t have to shell out the big bucks, because Fave’s got your back. Check out Musicwerks on Fave, and take your pick of recording one, two, or three songs for your first single album. The package comes with an hour per song to sing, record, and tune your voice, as well as another hour for mixing and mastering your tracks.
Now, you know all the steps of Three Steps to Fave’s Perfect Pitch, but there’s one last step. This isn’t an official step but it’s probably the most important one:
Step 4: Always have a fat heart!
Don’t give up on your dreams and always follow your heart. So go out there and conquer the local music scene!
*Disclaimer: Fave does not guarantee success, stardom, or a Hollywood movie with these steps.
