Wagyu Beef Bowl for ONLY $15.90?
We HAD to go down to The Butcher’s Kitchen to try this famed creation!
The Butcher’s Kitchen is located at Suntec City, serving a variety of western dishes.
Just recently, the restaurant introduced an additional menu featuring Asian dishes such as Salmon Bowls, Pork Bowls and even WAGYU BEEF BOWLS.
We decided to order 2 different rice bowls – the Flaming Wagyu Beef Dices with added truffle, along with the famed Wagyu Beef Bowl!
It was lucky that we thought to order drinks.
On a Friday evening, there was quite a crowd and the food took an estimated 30 minutes to be prepared.
For drinks, we chose a Matcha Latte and a Hazelnut Latte.
We also ordered a side of Mac & Cheese that was not too rich or overly creamy.
The portion was perfect for sharing.
Finally, after 30 minutes of waiting, the anticipated WAGYU BEEF BOWL arrived!
This Wagyu Beef Bowl comes with huge strips of Wagyu Beef, a runny egg and a medley of two special sauces. Before it is served, the Wagyu Strips are set aflame, which gives the dish a slightly charred, smoky taste. Yum!
If you’re not a fan of alcohol, you can request from the staff to leave one of the sauces out as it tasted quite strongly of it.
However, once you mix everything together, the flavours blend together well!
The other bowl we tried was the Wagyu Beef Dices.
The beef cubes were really juicy and were not too tough, making it a delight to chew.
In addition, the added truffle was not too overpowering as well and complimented the dish wonderfully.
If we were to choose between this dish and the former, our personal favourite would be the Wagyu Beef Dices Rice bowl!
We were way too full to try any additional dishes.
However, if you have space for dessert, The Butcher’s Kitchen has a huge selection of gelato for you to choose from! Flavours include Cookies & Cream, Mint Chocolate and more!
