Dohkie is a new dessert shop in town and they specialise in edible cookie dough!

The dream of eating huge gobs of raw cookie dough has finally come true, PLUS, you don’t have to worry about getting Salmonella at all.

Dohkie’s cookie dough is made with heat treated flour and contains ZERO eggs, making their cookie dough a safe-to-eat treat!

Firstly, similar to a typical ice cream parlour, customers can choose between getting a cup, cone or waffle cone!

Next, you can choose up to 3 scoops of cookie dough and then add on a creamy vanilla soft serve!

Currently, there are 6 amazing flavours available, including the original Chocolate Chip and exciting flavours such as Birthday Cake and Brownie Batter!

We tried their Birthday Cake cookie dough, a flavour stuffed with loads of colourful sprinkles and marshmallows!

This flavour would be a huge hit for dessert lovers as it was quite sweet. We loved their cookie dough texture – slightly gooey and fluffy.

Next, we tried the Brownie Batter and Cookies & Cream flavour! Our favourite was the Cookies & Cream!

There were generous chunks of Cookies in the batter and it had the perfect balance of chocolate and vanilla flavours. It wasn’t as sweet as the Birthday Cake, which we appreciated.

For chocolate lovers, the Brownie Batter would be a huge hit – the chocolate flavour was really rich and it tasted just like digging into a thick brownie batter. Yum!

The great thing about having cookie dough for dessert, is that it would NEVER MELT. No more fussing about with a dripping mess of ice cream and tissues, and getting your hands all sticky. Now, you can fully take your time to savour your dessert instead of racing to get it all in before it melts.

However, for hardcore ice cream lovers, you can still choose to add on a soft serve unto your cookie dough! 

Dohkie’s soft serve ice cream was smooth, creamy and not overly sweet! In fact, we’ll gladly order it on its own as well!

Do take note that their soft serve melted REALLY fast, so you’re advised to get a tissue ready!

If you’re looking for a beverage instead, try their Milkshakes that are made with cookie dough, soft serve and milk blended all together!

We tried their Peanut Butter Milkshake and were impressed by how thick (but not too thick to the point that you can’t slurp it up with a straw. We HATE that!) and rich their milkshake tasted! The cookie dough taste was really prominent as well, making it unique and different from a typical ice cream only milkshake.

In all, Dohkie is a great place to get your sugar cravings fixed!

Not only do they serve really yummy cookie dough, we also loved the chill and comfy ambience of their dessert shop.

They recently expanded to include a sitting area at the side that can accommodate up to 15 people. However, according to the owners, the vibes are so chill to the point that many customers actually choose to sit on the floor and indulge in their desserts!
