You don’t have to spend a bomb to feel like a Tai Tai.

We found Greyhound Cafe at Paragon serving delicious food in a gorgeous setting that would make you instantly feel like a Crazy Rich Asian! Plus, their dishes average ~$18SGD. Definitely affordable for that weekend pampering sessions!

The entire cafe was decked out in a black and white theme, along with splashes of flora and fauna here and there. You’ll definitely feel 1000x chicer once you take a step in!

Bask under their sleek and chic glasshouse adorned with ferns, or sit at one of their high wooden dining tables and watch the crowd go by.

Greyhound Cafe has a rather extensive menu, with a large focus on Thai Food with a twist, along with Vietnamese, European and Western influences.

We started our meal off with their Complicated Noodles.

This dish requires some self-assembly (similar to Korean barbequed meat!).

First, take a fresh leaf of lettuce, then place a sheet of their square-shaped noodles on it. Next, put a scoop each of their Minced Pork Sauce and Green Thai Chili sauce on the noodles, wrap it up along with some coriander leaves and pop it into your mouth!

We really LOVED their Minced Pork Sauce that was really flavourful. The savoury meat perfectly balanced the milder, refreshing vegetables. This is definitely a MUST order when you visit the cafe! We’ll even gladly order this as a main meal.

Next, we also ordered their Salmon Carpaccio with a special Thai Spicy Sauce.

Each salmon slice came with a thin clove of garlic and herb. Be sure to dip the entire slice in the green Thai Spicy Sauce that had a fresh and vibrant yet spicy flavour!

The last appetiser we had was their Tom Yum Soup.

Unlike other versions, this Tom Yum soup didn’t have that sharp, spicy kick. It was more mellow and sour, so for those of you who can’t handle spice, this Tom Yum Soup is PERFECT for you!

It also came with a HUGE piece of prawn!

The prawn was cooked perfectly and wasn’t too chewy or hard.

For our mains, we had their Crab Meat Fried Rice which we LOVED.

This dish came with LOADS of dried chilli and garlic, which created an addictive spicy kick to the rice. The dried chilis also added a slightly chewy texture and their generous pieces of fried crab were super crispy and oh so good!

With each bite, this dish became more and more addictive and was definitely our favourite dish that we tried.

The rice might get a little too dry after awhile and so the small soup that came along with the dish was PERFECT! The soup also had a tiny piece of handmade meatball which reminded us of soup style Bak Chor Mee.

The other main we ordered was their Soft Shell Crab Pasta!

This dish was really yummy as well – Pasta was cooked al dente and coated very generously with thick, black pepper sauce. The pepper wasn’t too overpowering and was balanced out by the fresh and colourful capsicum slices.

You also get a perfectly crisp soft shell crab which wasn’t overly oily!

Look at that crisp, fried goodness. Yum.

Finally, we had DESSERTS!

Calling all Mango Sticky Rice lovers!

This is a really cute twist to the typical Mango Sticky Rice you get at other Thai restaurants (fret not, Greyhound Cafe also serves the authentic style Mango Sticky Rice!)

Here is their Sticky Mango Rice Parfait!

This cute glass dessert is layered with sticky rice, mango chunks, coconut sherbet and a mini mint leaf!

The coconut sherbet was really light and refreshing, the perfect end to our rich mains.

We also tried their traditional Thai dessert – Sakoo Piek.

This dessert is made with coconut sorbet, blue coconut sago, coconut shreds and water chestnuts!

Lastly, we had their Signature Greyhound Fresh Coconut Crepe Cake.

This dessert really hit the spot!

Soft, airy and fluffy crepe layered with fresh cream and FRESH THAI COCONUT CHUNKS!

Look at those yummy layers!

We really enjoyed those fresh coconut chunks tucked within the crepes.

Greyhound Cafe is definitely a MUST VISIT place when you are feeling a little more fancier than Nakhon Kitchen.

All the dishes are beautifully presented and taste amazing. Plus, you get to relax in one of the most gorgeous cafes in Singapore! Do not forget to try our recommendations – Complicated Noodles, Soft Shell Crab Pasta, Fresh Coconut Crepe Cake and Crab Meat Fried Rice!
