Foxhole Cafe – An unassuming and quaint cafe in Hougang.
When we entered the cafe, we came face to face with the dessert counter and wondered, “Oh, where are the seats?”
Turns out, the sitting area was located just one floor above, accessible by a short flight of stairs.
The dining area was simple but pleasant, with natural sunlight shining in from their full length window.
Perfect for taking Instagrammable photos!
The Foxhole Cafe’s menu has quite a few offerings, such as burgers and lasagna, but the one dish that caught our eyes was the CHILI CRAB CROISSANT.
We weren’t disappointed.
The Chili Crab Croissant ($14.90) tastes just as amazing as it looks.
The croissant was flaky and buttery – definitely one of the best croissants we have ever tasted in our lives.
Next, it also came with a super generous serving of Chili Crab Filling that tasted oh so good!
There was also truffle chips on the sides that had a very strong truffle aroma and was perfectly crisp.
We also tried their DIY Croissants – where you could customize the entire dish by adding on whatever your heart desired.
Choices include 63 Degrees Sous Vide Eggs ($3), Truffle Mayo Mushrooms ($4), Smoked Cheese Pork Sausages ($4) and more!
We also ordered a couple of their drink items – An iced cold latte ($4.90) served in a really cute bottle and a hot Matcha Latte ($6.50).
The Matcha Latte was prepared perfectly and wasn’t too overly milky, definitely something we would order the next time we return.
Finally, we ended off the meal with a Red Velvet Brownie topped with Sea Salt Malt Ice Cream.
While the Ice Cream didn’t taste much like Sea Salt Malt, the Red Velvet Brownie was really delicious!
It wasn’t overly sweet and had the perfect richness.
Overall, we were pleasantly surprised with the Foxhole Cafe.
